Another fine mystery from talented author Joseph E. Wright! A fun read that will keep your attention as brother and sister, Pat Montgomary and Phillis Toner, set about solving a death threat in classy Maris Cove. A phone call warns an old Latin teacher of Pat's that one of the couple who want to buy a house in lovely Maris Cove will die if the sale is approved. The teacher contacts Pat and asks that he and Phillis come to Maris Cove to find out what is going on. Pat and Phillis have barely begun their investigation when death strikes. This changes the focus from what might have been a crank call to something a lot more serious. More difficult questions must be asked and the answers sifted for truth. What they learn means Maris Cove will never be the same. A well-written tale with plenty of mystery. You'll think you know who the villain is and find out you are wrong. Secrets aplenty, but the truth won't be known until the end. A book to provide you reading enjoyment. I look forward to Mr. Wright's next work.
