Ever been to a logging camp? Whether you have or not, Where Eagles Soar will take you there, into the lovely virgin forest where Annie Trowbridge seeks to establish a new career and life for herself and her daughter, Holly. It is a trip you will enjoy all the way. Wanting something Seattle lacked, Annie applies for a job with Jed O'Connell as teacher to the children of his loggers. There is a catch--Jed O'Connell has declared he will accept only a male teachre. How can she hope to get and keep the job with that condition hanging over her? She arrives in Jed's Landing and waits until the boat has departed before announcing herself to her new employer. He blows his stack and two stubborn people clash, each planning to declare a victory in this battle of wills. But, as Annie soon learns, evil can lurk amidst the beauty of the place when accidents that aren't accidents begin to happen. Can she protect herself and Holly if it should be directed at them? A great read with loads of tension and action. You will enjoy this tale by talented author Beverly Ruuth as recommended by a highly satisfied reader.
