Review

Are you an adventure seeker? Then, this is a tale for you, a story to satisfy that craving to visit mysterious lands where danger lurks at every turn, where the only friend a person has is his wits. Lonny Cushman is living such a life in Madagascar as he searches for gems to purchase. His search ultimately leads him to purchasing the most beautiful sapphire he's ever seen. And his life might be a final payment in the transaction when a local king decides the stone belongs to him. Then the king is killed and Lonny accused of murder. Every character in this well told tale has a private agenda that comes into play when Lonny tries to deal with them to make a plan to get himself and the stone safely off the island. And it seems unlikely he will be successful as he is chased by armed men across the countryside. Highly recommended as a satisfying read with loads of action and suspense. You never know what will happen next. Put on your hiking boods and open the book. Enjoy.
