Review

Have you ever returned to your home town after a long absence? Have you found things the same or changed? Was it still home? Or was it a place where murder could happen in the cold light of day? Mick Callahan took a job at a local radio station in the town that was once his home. He learned the old adage, 'you can't go home again', was too true. Things in Dry Wells, Nevada, had changed and not for the better. On the last day of the radio show Mick was hosting, a girl calls in to say she's scared of her boyfriend and he puts her off. Future events lead him to feeling guilty for this thoughtlessness and he feels he must try to undo the damage he might be responsible for. Bullies' threats and murderous attempts do not deter him from his decision. Mick peseveres and finds the answers he doesn't really want. A tale with twists and the unexpected, you'll enjoy every page. Recommended reading for any mystery fan, a tale you will enjoy all the way through. This book will have you looking for other books by Harry Shannon. Enjoy.
