Review

For any mystery fan. This great fun tale will keep you reading and on the edge of your seat. Paisley DeLeon's agent, Pam Wilson, has come up with the ultimate idea to promote the series of mysteries supposedly written by Leonard Paisley, the pseudonym for Paisley. A magazine wants to interview Leonard in the flesh. After the shock passes, panic sets in. Who could be Leonard Paisley? Then she remembers a retired local chief of police, Bert Atkins. Would he do it? Could he pass himself off as a private detective who writes? The plot thickens once Paisley has talked to Bert and has his agreement. The action picks up and doesn't slacken until the end. Dress warmly and be sure to wear your boots. Author, E. Joan Sims, uses her considerable talent to take you for a ride up slippery, snowy roads, walks where you'll nearly freeze to death and worry about starvation. You'll share adventure after adventure with Paisley, pausing just long enough to catch your breath before it begins again. A great, fun read that this happy reader highly recommends and hopes to soon see another in the series. Enjoy. I sure did.
