Lots of action in this tale. Nolen Martin is partnered with his foster-father, Digger, in prospecting for gold. They find more than they are looking for when Maida Collins starts blasting at them with a shotgun. They are also in the proximity of a secret research lab that accidentally releases a cloud of toxic gas, forcing the lab personnel to remove all the chemicals. There is suspicion among the lab people that Nolen might be a spy and efforts are put forth to find out. And, as they say in the old serials, "Meanwhile, back in town..." T. J. Tower has been told that CMR must strike it rich or else... The 'or else' leaves him little room to manuever so he gives orders to his people to do whatever necessary, legal or otherwise, to find a rich gold vein. These three forces colloide as Gold Lust unfolds with Nolen in the middle. Talented author Ed Mitchell gives the reader a fast ride with lots of excitement and action. With a touch of the old western, suspense and romance, Gold Lust will keep you turning pages. Recommended by this reader. Enjoy.
