Review

A tale to leave the reader with that satisfied feeling at having read a good story. A book that qualifies as a mystery as well as a romance with a cast of great characters that will hold your attention. You will want to keep reading. Widow Maggie Carter is losing her home and stepchildren who she loves deeply when Will Trevaron comes back into her life with a strange offer. The deal can save the future of the children and keep them a family, but it means leaving the only home they've known. Will Trevaron is faced with a dilemma and makes the offer to Maggie Carter without realizing the package deal he is getting. As he tries to resolve his new problem, strange accidents befall him, the latest almost fatal. A Will of Her Own is written by a very talented author, Winnie Griggs, whose characters live and breathe. She writes with a deep understanding of human nature that will keep you fascinated. In reading this book, you will get a feeling of having lived in their time and shared their lives, so well done is the background and description. A story that runs the gamut of emotions, you will find yourself experiencing the feelings of each person. Highly recommended by this reader as a story you will hate to put down until that last page. A book that will leave you wanting more. I look forward to Ms Griggs next book.
