Review

Nightmares are often clues to our past lives. This is what Denise learned when Olivia, an identity from a former life, began to live again in her dreams. Seeking help, Denise turns to Dr. Leopold and hypnosis. What she learns, among other things, is how the pattern of one life may be repeated in another, something she determines to change. Set in the south, during the years preceding the Civil War, talented author Sherri Neilson takes the reader back to a time when women were seen as chattel like the slaves around them. Free Falling is not the usual paranormal, but will please any reader looking for something different, something that will make you think. An adventure of the senses and the mind, Free Falling is a world apart, unique unto itself, where the reader will find the horrible mixed with the beautiful and wonder how they could exist on the same plane. But they do, and that is part of the achievement of a very able storyteller. You will remember this story long after you've read the last page.
