Review

A romance that will please even the pickiest reader. Blurring the genre lines, this exciting story of love will keep you turning pages to the last and make you wish there was more. Soaring Eagle's Embrace is a thrilling blend of romance and legend, fantasy and the paranormal, all balanced by the very talented Ms. Karen Kay to be lived by a wonderful set of lifelike characters. You will envy them the richness of the emotions they experience as they move through this tale of passion and emotional turmoil. It is this, that makes one feel alive. Kali has traveled the world over with her writer-father, William Wallace, acting as his photographer as he records the passing of the way primitive peoples live. On what is just another such journey to Montana to record the Blackfeet Nation, Kali meets Soaring Eagle and finds things do not always work out as she plans. Pitching a prim Victorian lady against the untamed land of the west and its people, one in particular, guarantees an enriching reading experience. The reader is quickly immersed in the life and legends of the Blackfeet and will pine for the things lost to modern life. An adventure of the heart that will lead the reader to the giddy heights of love. Put on your stoutest shoes, pick up your staff and prepare to follow guide, Gilda Shadow Runner, to the top of Chief Mountain where it begins.
