Review

Take a trip to Morning Shade, a delightful small town just up the road from Evening Shade, Arkansas--the town featured in the television series by the same name. You'll have the time of your life meeting the residents and may even think of settling here (or wish you could). Talented author Lori Copeland invites the reader into the world as you'd wish it really could be, a place where generosity of the spirit comes naturally to people. This is the town where recently-widowed Maude lives with her mother-in-law and daughter, CeeCee, who also just lost her husband. Three women, three dogs, and a cat who thinks he's king of the world have to sort out the confusion moving in together can cause. It is during this period of adjustment that Stella, Maude's aged mother-in-law becomes involved in mysterious doings in town. A Case of Bad Taste is a well-written tale with an easy pace that enhances the enjoyment of reading. Written with humor and a sure knowledge of how the human mind works, this book will keep you reading. It is with a sense of regret you will turn that last page. A realy fun read!
