Ever wonder what would happen if the gates to Hell were opened? If so, then this is a book you most definitely should read. Someone has committed a horrendous series of murders, ten out of eleven people working in the same lab at the same time. How is this possible? Could one man, Peter Barbour, be responsible, could he have killed them by himself? The answers are not forthcoming until Michael Pacilio begins his investigation. The trail he follows leads him to a witch, a priest and a lady doctor, all of whom become involved in the hunt. Though the story could be classified in the horror genre, it most definitely steps beyond this and is also considered a thriller with touches of mystery. Once you begin to read, you won't want to stop. Based on an unusual and intriguing premis in using computers to reach beyond our own reality, this tale is well written, tautly constructed with characters you will like and admire, even the villains. I can recommend The Hades Project as a fun read with plenty of excitement. The talented Mr. Gustainis will keep you hooked.
