Review

For the reader who likes plots with a twist and more than just mystery. The setting and plot is found in an institute created to help those who couldn't help themselves. It is a place you might want to send your elderly relatives or family members who have trouble learning to fend for themselves in a complicated society, a place that seems to exude competence and security. But things are not what they seem as Joey Turner finds out when he witnesses a murder. Frightened, he runs away to be pursued by security personnel from the institute. A second murder, this time on the high school grounds, pulls Mark Andrus into trying to solve it. He learns the victim is related to his friend named Chad. Not believing they are truly in danger, they learn different when Mark is attacked. Talented author Paul J. Taylor gives the reader full measure for their time. A story based on a different premis with a cast of well-drawn, interesting characters, Final Breath will keep you turning the pages. Recommended as a fun read. Enjoy.
