Review

Have you ever been driving in a rain so hard you could barely see ahead in heavy traffic? Put yourself in Jan McKane's place and experience the unnerving sensations being shoved around by a vehicle larger than your own. The accident left Jan unconscious, ending with a trip to the hospital, while her attacker left the scene in a fit of rage. She had something he wanted and couldn't get--something that was worth her life. The next question arose when Jan awoke and found she'd acquired a husband while unconscious, a husband who insisted on traveling with her, to the place she'd intended to visit before winding up in the hospital. Who was he? They had a companion they didn't know about until he broke into the cabin. What was he after--that was the question they tried to find the answer to while they waited for his next move. A fun read with lots of action, mystery and awareness between two fun characters. The setting of an isolated cabin is well drawn with a growing tension as it gets dark. Deceptions is a well told tale that any romance or mystery buff will thoroughly enjoy. I sure did.
