Review

Does anyone ever fully recover from a broken heart? Especially when the loss is of a child? Such is the case of Ella Mason, a woman who has suffered betrayal at the hands of a man she loved and the loss of her newborn son, a woman who has tried to learn to live again. But when Rafe Wallace enters her life, she learns just how far she has yet to go. A new widower, Rafe, seeks Ella out, ostensibly to make repairs on her home in exchange for the right to use her home in promoting his business. Will he tell her the real reason he has come into her life? This is a well-written story that touches the heart in anyone who reads it. You'll be torn between Rafe and Ella and their troubled pasts that drew them together, yet will keep them apart. Once they enter your life, they will seem like old friends and you'll wish the best for them. Talented Fran Shaff has a strong talent for capturing the emotions of her characters for the reader to share. You'll smile and cry, know sorrow and joy in the reading of this book and enjoy every page. Recommended as a read for anyone to enjoy. Romance at its finest.
