Review

The ROMEOS are at it again!! They have decided that playing matchmakers for unattached young people is a way to help guarantee their happiness. And it so happens they are right. Rachel Goodman left Pilgrims Cove to find a life away from her unhappy, unfulfilled childhood and found a new life in a career in teaching in Round Rock, Kansas. That is, until the fateful day a tornado blew the school apart and with it, her life. Her parents alert her to a new position in Pilgrims Cove's school system that would be perfect for her, so she returns and applies for the job. And the ROMEOS (Retired Old Men Eating Out) take a hand in her life, when fate crosses her path with hunky Jack Levine. A great, fun read that is a lighthearted look at life and love, a story you will enjoy to the fullest. Talented Linda Barrett uses her creative ability to construct a plot and characters who will seem like old friends when you step through the pages into Pilgrims Cove, a town you will want to visit again and again by reading other stories set here.
You might even wish the ROMEOS would help with your love life. Highly recommended.
