Review

Have you ever awakened in a strange room or found a strange person in your bed? Lucas Holbrook did. How did he, the Duke of Wakefield, end up in bed with a lovely farmwife? They tell him, he was fished out of the sea a year ago and there was no way to tell who he was while he was unconscious. When he woke, he told them his name was Luke Martin and this was his identity for the last year, during which time he wooed and wed lovely Charity Fergusson. Their home was on a farm. Lucas decides he must go back home as he does not really remember any of the last year. His fiancee Helena must have given him up for dead, but he hopes not. His family is delighted at finding him alive, but he finds some things have changed. He learns the fate of a missing girl was tied to his disappearance and with his return, the mystery of her disappearance once more must be resolved. And to add to his problems, Charity shows up at his home. A great tale with loads of mystery and romance that will keep you happily reading to the very satisfying end. Highly recommended for all romantics who love suspense mingled with romance. This story has it all. Enjoy. I sure did.
