Review

A fairy tale for the kid in you. No talking frogs or wicked witches, but you'll find it a satisfying fun read all the same with lots of romantic action to tickle your fancy. Nicolette Ducasse is a family oriented princess with a strong sense of duty, but she is also a fiercely independent woman who loves her freedom. Duty clashes with freedom when she learns her sister Chantal plans a second arranged marriage for herself. With a plan of her own, Nicolette takes her sister's place, never intending to be married. Prince Malik needs a wife, a woman to give him an heir to his throne and has contacted Chantal with this in mind. He learns that life can throw a monkey wrench into the best laid plans. Recommended for any romantic, especially those who love the "Once upon a time" tales with exotic settings and stories involving a mingling of two vastly different cultures. Talented Jane Porter will keep you reading and wishing you were in Nicolette's shoes.
