Review

The irony in his death is Dominic Breckland, Viscount Stratfield, discovers new life and purpose. In seeking revenge on the person responsible for his predicament, Dominic finds himself buried in a trunk of fancy lady's undergarments, a situation he had not previously experienced in his life as a rakehell with the ladies. Lady Chloe Boscastle, sent in disgrace to live with relatives, realizes her reputation will be worthless if she is found with the man called the ghost of Stratford lying amidst her undergarments in her bedchamber, feverish and bleeding from his wounds. But, always willing to play a risky game, she undertakes to help him.
Dominic knows he is in mortal danger if discovered and that the girl could also be drawn into this murderous affair that does, unbeknownst to her, involve a brother she believes killed in war along with Dominic's own brother. The facts are, Dominic believes, the men were murdered and he was intent on proving it when struck down.
A complex tale of romance and mystery written by talented Jillian Hunter, this book will keep you turning pages long into the night as boldly drawn characters move as though alive through it, following their own desires and determinations. Highly recommended as a fun read for any romantic or mystery buff. Enjoy.
