In the mood for something more than a mere mystery? Take a look at The Clovis Incident, a fun read that combines the supernatural, UFOs and murder. Sasha Solomon, PR expert, finds herself unexpectedly unemployed so she heads to Clovis to interview for a chance to write a report that will put them on the map for tourists to visit. The subject was to be the town's involvement with UFOs and alien encounters. Sasha also has a friend of long standing living in Clovis so decides to combine pleasure with business, but it doesn't quite turn out that way. Her friend, Mae King, is accused of murdering a foreign pilot on her land and committed for psychiatric evaluation when someone informs the authorities that she says aliens visit her regularly. Sasha sees the ghost of the dead man, a not-unusual occurrence, is drafted as a spy by the police to find out what really happened, is accused by her friend of betrayal, and winds up a possible victim of alien abduction. A fun read from beginning to end written by a talented author. Is this the first in a series. I hope so. Highly recommended.
